We loved Breanna Bardarson of
Bardy's Trail Rides. She had two
helpers; Maria and Erik. They were a really cool couple who had
not been horse packing either. We all had a great time!
In a couple of sections the trail was VERY steep. It was a little
nerve-wracking!
We saw some amazing scenery. This is Devil's Pass.
A 360º view or our camp.
These two cabins are part of a mining lease. The Cabins were built
in the early 1900's.
Only the three lead (herd boss) horses were tethered while we were in
camp. The other five had the run of the place. They stayed
around and interacted with us as we went about our fun-having!
Orca, Margo's horse - of course, was a big goofball. He and our
Gideon MUST be related.
